I took this photograph on my first trip to the Lofoten Islands in Norway. An archipelago located 300 km north of the Arctic Circle, it boasts breathtaking scenery, including the remarkable Uttakleiv beach on the island of Vestvagøy. Its characteristic rocks amidst the white sand give the site a timeless beauty. One of them, with a spherical stone at its centre, caught my eye. The scene, illuminated by the mesmerizing northern lights, is almost surreal. In the distance, the mountains overlook the fjord and the emerald sea. Through this image, I wanted to celebrate the incredible beauty of our planet.
