This photo was taken at the remote Oil Rigs site in Kuwaiti waters, east of Qaruh Island. The inactive oil rigs have come to represent an important artificial reef in Kuwait, attracting divers and fishermen alike. During a survey dive there with the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, I noticed these three Longfin Bannerfish (Heniochus acuminatus) nibbling on the jellyfish, possibly feeding on tiny crustaceans that live there.
