In the flowing current, a pink skunk clownfish (Amphiprion perideraion) takes shelter among the stinging tentacles of its host, a magnificent sea anemone (Heteractis magnifica) in the reefs of submerged pinnacles off the shore from Phuket, Thailand. The sea anemone and clownfish form a mutualistic relationship: the sea anemone shelters and protects the clownfish while the latter provides nutrients, eliminates its parasites, and scares off potential predators.
