Mayotte
Category - Life Under the Surface

This school of catfish from the Mayotte reef was photographed in a slow exposure with a strobe flash trigger, allowing this particular rendering. This species of fish is fond of eelgrass meadows and seabed sandy detrital coral reefs. While adults live in lagoons up to 50 metres deep, juveniles prefer shallow coastal waters.
