This photo was taken in Munshiganj, Bangladesh, where flooding has intensified in recent years. When the currents of the Padma River are too strong, people face dangerous situations. I saw, for example, this grandfather bringing his grandchildren to safety before accompanying them to the nearest cyclone shelter. The girl also lost an uncle to a snake bite, as the reptile had come to the house because of the flood, as it happens very often.
