A word from the photographer: “Lake Lenmakana is isolated from the rest of the ocean by ramparts several tens of meters high. It is connected to the ocean by terrestrial channels that prevent the entry or exit of living organisms. Therefore, these jellyfish have found refuge in what is for them a safe haven. They have proliferated and now reached up to millions of individuals.”
